Frames worth printing. We lean toward analog, but the rule is taste, not stock.

What we publish.

Photography of air-cooled cars that shows patience. Film, digital, large format, half-frame. The format does not matter. The frame does.

We have a soft spot for film. The grain, the slowness, the cost-per-frame discipline. A roll of Portra in a 1989 cabin is the kind of thing we will always make room for. If you shoot film, tell us what you shot it on. If you shoot digital, send the frames anyway. The chassis still reads.

We publish single frames and small series, one or two a week. Each post lists what we know about how it was made and a short caption from the photographer.

The one rule: no AI generations. Everything else is on the table.

How to submit.

Email submissions@f6supply.co with subject line Film.

Include:

  • Camera. The body and lens if you remember them. Leica M6 with a 50mm Summicron, Hasselblad 503CW, Nikon D850, Fuji X100V, any of it.
  • Film stock or sensor notes. If you shot film, the stock and the ISO you rated it at. Portra 400, HP5, Velvia 50. If you shot digital, ignore this and tell us anything else useful instead.
  • Year. Approximate is fine.
  • Subject. Chassis, year, location, whether the car was running or static.
  • The image. High-resolution flat file, no aggressive color grading or sharpening. We post your file as you submitted it.
  • Caption. One to three sentences from you. The frame, the moment, the car.
  • Photographer credit. Your name and Instagram handle if you have one.

Featured frames get a permanent post under your name, full photo credit, and a complimentary piece from the Heritage Series.

F6 Supply Co. will never re-color or retouch your image. We may light-touch crop for layout.
