We are saving for an air-cooled chassis to give to a customer. When the title is in hand, we open membership.
The first thousand members lock in a Founding rate that does not increase as long as you remain a member. Membership opens with the chassis announcement. The waitlist gets first access by 48 hours.
What membership includes
- The Brief — a weekly Monday letter. Editorial, technical, market, or personal. 800 to 1,500 words.
- Full editorial archive — every Long Read in full. The free tier sees the first half.
- Field Notes Daily — short pieces on chassis history, terminology, and owner notes. Day-of for members.
- First-look on Heritage Series drops — 48 hours early on every new product, plus one member-only product per quarter.
- Quarterly virtual AMA — live conversations with builders, owners, and photographers.
- Members-only community space — a quieter, signal-to-noise-correct space for the F6 audience.
- Monthly First Chassis fund updates — detailed balance, build progress, and receipts (publicly summarized; members see the full ledger).

Patron membership includes everything above, plus your name engraved on a member plate inside the engine bay of The First Chassis when it is delivered to the winning customer. Quarterly printed fund reports mailed to your address. VIP access at the annual F6 Field Day. One additional raffle entry for The First Chassis per year of Patron tenure.

Why this waitlist exists
We are not selling memberships before we have something to be a member of. The First Chassis fund needs to be real before membership is. Once we acquire the chassis, membership opens. Until then, the waitlist captures interest at the Founding rate.
